Scuba Diver Training
Our training courses are meant to be fun and enjoyable for all concerned (both students and instructors), but like any form of learning, you will need to invest some time and effort reading, studying and also completing assigned tasks. The student agrees to study independently as specified by the instructor. In general, this means that prior to each knowledge development session, the student will:
- Watch the appropriate assigned portion of the course DVD.
- Read the appropriate assigned section of the course manual, and complete the exercise questions within the section
- Complete the appropriate Knowledge Review to be handed in at the start of each class.
- Attend on time all knowledge development sessions, confined water sessions and open water dives as agreed.
In addition, the student agrees to:
- Follow all course procedures as requested by the instructor.
- Always ask questions about anything not understood.. Remember its your course at the end of the day.
- Have fun,.
- Buy your instructor a beer at the end of the course. If you think he's earned it !
Failure to arrive on time or be unprepared for any training session, may result in the student being excluded from the course/s and arrangements will be made to attend another course at a later date. The student will be responsible for any additional costs and/or inconveniences this causes. In scheduling and determining additional costs.
Failure to complete a course in the allocated time, may result in additional costs for instructor time and materials
Dive Buddies agree to give every reasonable consideration to unforeseen events, such as family emergencies, that lead to this situation.

Safety First
We at Dive Buddies Ltd pride ourselves on the provision of first class and safe training and as such require you to complete Medical Statement Form and Liability Release and Assumption of Risk Form to ensure that you are medically fit to dive.
All our Instructors, Divemasters and rescue divers have successfully completed Emergency First Response Course, CPR training and certified by accredited agency to perform such services.
