Steve Hewitt Master Scuba Diver Trainer

Steve Hewitt As a child I will always remember sitting in front of the television and watching all about the undersea world. In particular the Jacques Cousteau programs. I took a discovery scuba with a local dive centre back in 2000, and since my first dive experience I have not looked back. I feel I have been privileged to see sites under the water that most people in life may never see. I enjoy seeing the reaction from people when they have taken their first steps into the world of scuba diving and then proceed onto certification and joining the PADI family.

My most memorable dives have got to be in the Red Sea. Diving the SS Thistlegorm for the first time and seeing military equipment from the 1940's. The Million hope. a large cargo ship with its huge cranes still sticking out of the water. The fish life around this wreck was spectacular. Finally our diving trip in 2008 to Sharm. This was Debs first trip out to the Red Sea and she loved every minute.

Deborah Hewitt Dive Master

Deborah Hewitt I started diving in 2006 when Dive Buddies was formed. I felt it was necessary to be able to dive as I was going to help run this family business. I have found diving to be fun, exciting keeps you in great shape and you get to meet and become friends with people from all walks of life.

My most memorable dives are the Blue Planet for a charity shark dive. The fish life were swarming around us, while the large sand sharks swam over our heads. One of the fish kept floating in front of me as I gently poured gravel over its back to tickle him. Temple in the Red Sea. This small dive site had a fast amount of fish and rich coral life. It was a very pleasant place to end our diving holiday.
